INVEST IN YOURSELF
I gotta admit - I'm a coffee addict. My husband and I go to Starbucks pretty much every single day. Sometimes twice a day. It's less than 3 miles away and they have a drive thru. It's really convenient. Do we have a Keurig? Sure we do. But something about Starbucks coffee just makes us so happy. So everytime I go to at Starbucks I get a grande iced coffee. If I'm headed home I get it black so I can sweetened it myself at home. If I'm out I get it with coconut milk (for a little upcharge.) My grande iced coffee (nothing fancy, just coffee and ice) costs me about $4. That seems crazy to me because that drink only contains COFFEE and ICE (sometimes coconut milk). That’s it! There are no superfoods, no prebiotics, no phytonutrients, no adaptagens, no nothing in it besides coffee.
So I chuckle when people tell me Shakeology is too expensive. I paid $4.00 for a coffee that has little to no nutritional value.
But really... to anyone who feels this product is expensive I know that I have not done my due diligence in breaking down its REAL VALUE. Shakeology at $4.33 per shake and $3.26 if you're a coach is already less than my pricey plain old iced coffee. And I'm sure we can all agree that even a healthy lunch like a salad or juice bar smoothie can range from $3-$9, so Shakeology still comes in on the LOW END of average. (You can make Shakeology into a breakfast or lunch that you’d be buying anyway.) So not only are you spending less than you normally would, you’re also getting vital nutrients your body needs that you just can’t get from your run-of-the-mill salad. Shakeology has actually replaced my whole food based vitamin too. Sure, you may need a specific vitamin, based on your conditions, geography, or age—but in general, Shakeology will provide you with a solid base of your whole-food nutrients.
But, I know... I know... that once a month price tag is pricey! I've heard it and I've thought it before too, but when was the last time you went to your grocery store and bought THIRTY meals all at once? Typically, I’m guessing, you buy a week's worth of groceries each time. When you buy a bulk bag of Shakeology, you are buying 30 shakes up-front. That means you’ll spend less money at the grocery store--it is my breakfast daily. Because of the grocery savings, I actually deduct my monthly Shakeology from our grocery budget. For the price (approx $28/wk), I cannot duplicate its vast quality of ingredients and nutrients. To me and my busy life this is just a no-brainer!
So is Shakeology worth it to me, absolutely! I get my whole food based vitamins, it's chocolate, has vegan options, tastes delish & makes sense for my budget. I love a great latte, but let's face it... it's $4 that's never going to do my health any good. If you're interested in trying Shakeology just contact me... I've got a sample pack with your name on it!
